When we entered the restaurant it wasn't busy yet so I thought we'd get great service but our visit started with the unfriendly hostess. Our waitress started off great and brought our drinks right away. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer but they were so salty we couldn't eat them. They only tasted like salt and more salt, so much salt you couldn't taste anything but salt. I ordered the veggie burger, it was awesome. Hubby ordered a hamburger which he devoured and my son got the BBQ sandwich which was really good as well. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy but a little too much salt. Our waitress never came by and checked on us to see how everything was or to refill our drinks. If I go back I hope the hostess has a better attitude, I wont order the fried pickles and hope I get a more attentive waitress.

Food was good they did a nice job on the Cuban and the BLT. The service was great, friendly and knowledgeable. The beer was delicious. One of the co-owners spent some time chatting us up. Ambience was nice, clean , open. Very enjoyable experience.

Fun times! The food was good but if you are looking for a date night, make sure there aren’t any events going on. We loved bingo night but it was PACKED. Will definitely be back!

It was about 10 minutes before someone acknowledged that we were there, but then everything was fine. The food was good, but a bit pricey for Hartwell. But it was a trendy please, so not surprising. It was larger than it appeared to be from the outside. They had outside seating too which is nice, but those tables were all to small for more than 2 people.

We have been to this restraunt / bar twice so far. Had shrimp and grits one time and salmon the other. Both meals were great. Staff are real friendly and helpful. The beer is good depending on what you like.
